About
Dr. Rotzler
Hello everyone, and welcome to my page!
I'm excited to share a bit about my professional journey. I have been a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner since 2014, building on my nursing experience since 2009. My expertise focuses on MENTAL WELLNESS for all age groups and provide services to communities across Arizona, New Mexico, and New York in person and via telemedicine. I've had the privilege of working with several Federally Qualified Health Care Centers and provided medication management services at the San Juan County NM Adult Detention Center Alternative sentencing program for clients in recovery. As a certified provider of Buprenorphine and Medically Assisted Treatment since 2017 I am able to assist with safe and structured addiction treatment.
I earned a Doctoral degree from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Summa Cum Laude), and my graduate and undergraduate degrees from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York (Cum Laude). I have a deep passion for travel and cultural immersion which includes mission trips, as well as visits to Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria and the earthquakes in 2019 . Additionally, I proudly served on the State of Arizona Nursing Association- Nurse Practitioner Council Chapter 9 as the Legislative Chair for Government Affairs and teach Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners at Liberty University while also mentoring and preceptor to Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner students. Currently, I own a private practice and am the CEO of Mindful Choice Institute. I am happily married with two adult children and six grandchildren. I love love love to sew and make rope bowls as a hobby!
